Your 2 days Zagora desert tour begins with an early morning pickup from your accommodation or Marrakech Airport. Leaving the city behind, you’ll travel through the spectacular High Atlas Mountains via the famous Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260 m), the highest mountain pass in Morocco. Along the way, several scenic stops allow you to admire the panoramic views, traditional Berber villages, and dramatic mountain landscapes.
Your first major stop is the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Ben Haddou, Morocco’s most famous fortified village. Explore its ancient earthen architecture and discover why it has served as the backdrop for renowned productions such as Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia, and Game of Thrones.
