Day 1

Day 1 : Tanger

Collected by our guide at the port or airport of Tangier and Transfert to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, possibility to explore the city of Tangier.

Day 2

Day 2 : Tanger – Tétouan – Chefchaouen

After breakfast you will go around the city (in case of late arrival on day 1) after exploring the city we departe to the beautiful blue and white-washed Andalusian town; Chefchaouen a holy town perched on the mountain,

Dinner and overnight.

Day 3

Day 3 : Chefchaouen – Fès

After breakfast, depart for the oldest imperial city. Fes was founded in 789 AD by Idris I, a descendant of the prophet. we will go on a guided tour with our local guide to explore Fez, the ancient medina of Fez

The tour includes Fes el Bali, the medina and its souks (areas potters, the madrasa Bou Inania, The University of Al-Karaouine or Al-Qarawiyyin which is the first university in the world, the medrasa of attarine etc…

Day 4

Day 4 : Fès - Azrou - Midelt - Vallée du Ziz - Erfoud –Rissani- Merzouga

Departure to Merzouga Passing through the great cedar forests of Azrou, where troops of wild Barbary Apes (Barbary Macaque) live.

A great opportunity to take photos of wilderness,and then we continue via the Middle Atlas Mountains toward the valley of Tafilalt.

Lunch in a restaurant in Midelt. then we drive passing through Erfoud, famous for its dates and fossils crossing several Berber villages and Rissan the capital of Tafilalt ( Tafilalt is considered as one of the largest oases in the world) then we carry on to Merzouga. Once we arrive in Merzouga, we get prepared for a desert camel tick, we ride through a series of superb dunes in the desert Erg Chebbi

Day 5

Day 5 : Merzouga  / Todra gorge / Ouarzazate.

We will weak up early to catch the sunrise over the dunes. Arriving back to the hotel on your camels for breakfast and shower before driving

A quick visite of the holly city Rissani and also of Erfoud And then we leave for todra Gorges for a visite and for taking a walk up in the palm grove of the Todra valley. Passing through palms of Touroug and Tinjdad,

After lunch in Todra gorges we set off for Kalaat M’Gouna and Ouarzazate via the Dades Valley.

Day 6

Day 6 : Ouarzazate, Ait Benhadou, Marrakech.

After breakfast we explore Ouarzazet which’s famous for its kasbahs, including that of Taourirt, then Atlas Studio (They were created in 1983, Ridley Scott has already filmed some of the movie Gladiator (2000), kingdom of Heaven (2005) .Astrèix and Obelix: Mission Cleopatra (2002) has also been shot, and Tutankhamun series : The Cursed Pharaoh and other American productions, Italian, German ...)

Then we visit Ksar Ait Ben Haddou the most impressive Ksar and the most poetic of all the south of Morocco, the kasbah, declared UNESCO World Heritage

Day 7

Day 7 : Marrakech – Casablanca – Rabat

After breakfast, we will go with our local guide on a brief guided tour of Marrakech
exploring the medina and souks, , the Koutoubia, the Bahia Palace, the Saadian Tombs and Majorelle Garden .

after lunch we leave for Casablanca to visit mosque Hassan 2

What clothing and special items should I bring for an overnight stay in the Merzouga desert camp?
