Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Marrakech – High Atlas Mountains – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley
- Distance: 320 km | Driving time: approx. 6 hours
After breakfast, start your 5 day Morocco itinerary by heading east toward the High Atlas Mountains via the scenic Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2260 m).
Stop to visit the Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of Morocco’s most iconic landmarks.
Continue to Ouarzazate, the “Hollywood of Africa,” and then follow the Valley of Roses to reach Dades Valley, known for its spectacular rock formations.
🏨 Dinner and overnight in Dades Valley.
Day 2: Dades Valley – Todra Gorges – Erfoud – Merzouga Desert
- Distance: 270 km | Driving time: approx. 5 hours
After breakfast, explore the winding Dades Gorges before traveling to Todra Gorges, where high cliffs rise up to 300 meters.
Then continue to Erfoud, famous for its fossils, and on to Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara Desert.
In the afternoon, ride camels across the dunes of Erg Chebbi and witness the magical sunset over the Sahara.
Enjoy a traditional dinner and music under the stars in your desert camp.

Day 3: Merzouga – Ziz Valley – Midelt – Cedar Forest – Ifrane – Fes
- Distance: 460 km | Driving time: approx. 8 hours
Wake up early to see the sunrise, then return by camel to the village for breakfast and a shower.
Drive north through the Ziz Valley, known for its palm groves and ksars.
Stop in Midelt for lunch before continuing through the Middle Atlas Mountains. Pass by Azrou’s Cedar Forest, where you may spot Barbary macaques, and then visit Ifrane, the “Switzerland of Morocco.”
Arrive in Fes in the evening.

Day 4: Fes Guided Tour – Chefchaouen (The Blue City)
- Distance: 210 km | Driving time: approx. 4 hours
In the morning, explore Fes Medina with a local guide. Visit Bou Inania Madrasa, Al-Qarawiyyin University, the tanneries, and the Royal Palace.
After lunch, drive through the Rif Mountains toward Chefchaouen, known for its stunning blue-washed streets and peaceful mountain setting.

Day 5: Chefchaouen – Tangier (End of Tour)
- Distance: 115 km | Driving time: approx. 2.5 hours
Enjoy a relaxed morning in Chefchaouen, then head to Tangier.
Depending on your schedule, you can visit Cap Spartel, the Hercules Caves, and the Kasbah of Tangier before drop-off at your hotel, airport, or port.
