Day 1: Tangier Arrival – The Gateway & Chefchaouen

Your tangier desert tour begins at the airport or port. We’ll start with a visit to the Hercules Caves and Cape Spartel, where the Atlantic meets the Mediterranean. After a local lunch, we drive through the Rif Mountains to Chefchaouen, the famous "Blue Pearl."

Day 2: Exploring the Blue City (Chefchaouen Sightseeing)

Enjoy a walking tour of the blue-washed Medina. We’ll wander the narrow alleys and discover why this is a centerpiece for desert tours from tangier. In the afternoon, we recommend a short hike to the Spanish Mosque for a panoramic view of the entire valley.

Day 3: From the Blue Peaks to the Imperial Heart (Volubilis & Meknes)

Today we drive south toward the merzouga desert. Along the way, we’ll stop in Ifrane (the Switzerland of Morocco) and meet the Barbary macaques in the cedar forest. By sunset, you’ll be on a camel crossing the dunes to reach your luxury desert camp.

Day 6: Deep Sahara Exploration (Erg Chebbi)

Spend a full day in the desert. We’ll visit nomadic families in their tents, learn about their lifestyle, and enjoy the Gnawa music of Khamlia. This is the peak of the tangier desert tours experience—total silence and vast golden horizons.

Day 7: Sahara Sands to the High Canyons of Todra & Dades valley

After a Sahara sunrise, we visit the traditional market in Rissani. We then head to the Todra Gorges, where the canyon walls rise 300 meters high. The day ends among the "Monkey Fingers" rock formations in the Dades Valley.

Day 8: Dades Valley – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech

We cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass. We’ll pull over at the striking mud-brick fortress of Ait Ben Haddou. This UNESCO World Heritage site is a living piece of cinematic history, having served as the backdrop for Gladiator and Game of Thrones. After exploring its winding stairs, we cross the High Atlas peaks to meet the electric, red-walled energy of Marrakech.

• Driving Time: Dades Valley to Marrakech (~6 hours).
• Overnight: Riad in marrakech.

Day 9: Marrakech Guided Highlights

Discover the "Red City" with a local expert. Highlights include the Bahia Palace, the Ben Youssef Madrasa, and the bustling Jemaa el-Fnaa square. In the afternoon, find peace at the Majorelle Garden and explore the modern Gueliz district.

Driving Time: Local exploration (~45 mins).

Day 10: Departure from Marrakech (or Casablanca)

Your tangier desert tour concludes with a transfer to the airport. We can drop you in Marrakech or drive you to Casablanca for your flight, with a final visit to the Hassan II Mosque if time permits.
